Challenge

The main goal of the Neo Orbis hydrogen vessel project is to establish efficient hydrogen production, storage, and distribution infrastructure in the port of Amsterdam. This will lead to a reduced carbon footprint for marine transportation and develop a more sustainable future for the port industry.

Solution

The project involves building an innovative, green hydrogen-powered vessel to demonstrate its capabilities. There will also be investments in electrolysis plants, large-scale hydrogen storage facilities, and refueling stations within the port area. Partnering with local stakeholders will help build a scalable hydrogen ecosystem.
